Brett Mitchell
Owner-Manager
When Brett bought Tilers Trade Centre Qld in October 2014, he already knew it was a great business, because he managed it for the previous owner, for nearly four years.
When the offer to buy the business came up, he had no hesitation, as he could see the opportunity to help the Sunshine Coast grow, in construction and real estate.
Brett moved to the Sunshine Coast more than 20 years ago, and is married to Sandra, A Queenslander all her life. A qualified tyre fitter – previously with Bridgestone – Brett has worked in retail, transport and the tile industry.
As a growing business, it’s no surprise that Brett and Sandra’s sons, Nathan and Ryan, have grown up as part of the team. Nathan now manages the Trade Centre. Ryan helped his parents establish the business and now is a floor tiler himself.
“We are a growing business and have extended our warehouse, to better serve our loyal customers. We aim to assist in the growth of South East Queensland and beyond – well into the future.”
When he’s not busy helping customers, Brett loves to go fishing, and get out on his motorbike.

Sandra Mitchell
Owner-Manager, Admin
With a background in banking, retail, and aged care, Sandra is very much a people person, with a Cert III in Aged Care. You might have spotted her previously at NAB or Sundale Aged Care!
A Queenslander through and through, Sandra joined the business in 2015, and loves working with her husband and son in this trusted family team.
In her spare time, Sandra enjoys working in the garden, and spending time with family and friends.
Nathan Mitchell
Manager
When his Dad made the decision to buy Tilers Trade Centre Qld in 2014, it was a natural step for eldest son, Nathan, to join him.
Like his Dad, Nathan was already working at the Trade Centre, with the previous owner. So when Brett became the new owner, Nathan took over his role as Manager.
Fishing and motorbikes keep Nathan busy when he has time off, along with his love for model aeroplanes, and of course his partner and daughter
Bruce Parker
Delivery Driver
Cattle grazer Bruce joined Tilers Trade Centre Qld in July 2019, and is primarily responsible for deliveries & helping in the warehouse.
Born and Bred on the Sunshine Coast, no job is a problem for Bruce.
With his vast knowledge he assists from topping up shelves, cleaning rental equipment to supporting Front Counter staff & customers.
In his spare time, he is busy with his cattle & also enjoys fishing and gardening and spending time with family
Jake Anderson
Customer Service Specialist
A former Sunshine Coast boy, returning from the Yaraka region of Western Queensland.
Jake has taken to the Tiling Industry with a passion, joining our team in July 2020
Understanding the needs of the Customers both Tradie and DIY, and will do his best to help with the color charts too.
Jake can load your vehicle with the forklift and deliver the goods in the truck straight to site.
A master of many things, Jake is fit & healthy and will give anything a go to help you complete your job
Sharon Mackaway
Senior Administration
Sharon has been our Administration since joining our team in June 2018.
Formerly working for the previous owner, Sharon has been in the Flooring industry for many years
Another born and bread Queenslander on staff.
Sharon’s strength is her knowledge of Computer programs and has been a constant help with managing our books as we have continued to grow our business.
From small to large, one business to two, & back we have expanded as we continue to grow and support our neighboring regions throughout COVID and into our future years.
Sharon has been through it all with us and will continue to assist us as we approach our 10yr anniversary
Martin Stanley
Delivery Driver
Martin has come to us with a wealth of experience, having worked in many industries and lived in many areas of Australia. He now calls the Sunshine Coast home.
As a career change he is enjoying both Delivering goods and learning about our products.
Fit and healthy, he again is utilizing his Truck license.
He enjoys spending time with his family and helps out in-store where ever he can.
Marty is another important part of our team and we hope to help him stay busy and fit for many years to come.
Jamie Lucinsky
Customer Service Extrordinaire
Jamie began with us in May 2023.
He has many years of experience in both the flooring industry and warehousing.
Formerly working close by, Jamie’s energy is refreshing in all aspects of our Business.
He has settled in well, between answering phones, loading goods for customers and deliveries, his intake of product knowledge
has increased dramatically and he is a valued member of our team.
We hope to keep Jamie busy for many years to come. So please say Hi to Jamie when next you see him
Sam Kennedy
Delivery Driver
Sam is the youngest member of our Team.
He has the energy we need, with an eye for detail.
Sam lives locally and has been known to complete his deliveries for the day, then help stock shelves or wash the vehicles.
Sam can be seen driving a Ute to all his deliveries, he loads with the forklife & when he gets his truck license, he will have all the experience for the larger loads as well.
So keep any eye out for Sam on delivery, as he learns, all the suburbs of the Sunshine Coast.
Shaun Brady
Hervey Bay Store - Salesperson / Storeman / Jack of All Trades
Shaun Brady is our newest recruit and has taken on the Responsibility of Operating from our Hervey Bay Store.
Formerly of the Sunshine Coast with his last job in hardware. He already has the knowledge of a lot of tools we stock.
Shaun has recently moved to the Hervey Bay area and is enjoying the relaxed lifestyle.
Located originally on Booral Road Urangan, we soon outgrew that location. Now our bigger and away from flood waters we are on Ellengowan St Urangan (Just near the airport)
Shaun’s location is a drive-through store and he is willing and able to assist you with all your tiling needs.
Not only can he help to ensure you have the correct goods for the job, he can provide you an invoice and load your vehicle all undercover, keeping you out of the scorching sun and the downfall of rain.
So if you have property in the Bay and need some help, call in and see Shaun Monday – Friday’s.
Danielle Bayles
Administration Officer
Danielle has joined our Team recently in 2025.
Looking for a change in Career, leaving childcare behind and now returning from maternity leave, wanted something totally different.
She has found it, working with not only her partner Nathan but both her in-laws, and it works.
Danielle now works from both the Kuluin office and from home, with alot to learn, we hope it all starts to make sense, as we can feel the benefits already. She will eventually take the Senior Admin officer position when our current member decides to retire.
Danielle loves spending time with family & friends and like the other women on this team is a Qld country girl
So if Danielle answers the phone, please help her with your order as she gets to know all our products and learns there names, the spelling and everyone’s needs, wants and the tradie terminology
Karl Sundholm
Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assist Hervey Bay
Karl is our Casual Delivery Driver in the Hervey Bay area.
Working a few days a week suits him and our constantly growing store.
Retired from regular life, Karl is now an entrepreneur and active Grandad. Jack of all trades he has a tool for everything and if he is not delivering on the roads around the Fraser Coast, he is collecting more stock from the Sunshine Coast.
We have known Karl for many years and he brings a wealth of knowledge, ability and support to Shaun in our Hervey Bay Store.
So if you have a need for a delivery, Karl is the man for the job
Jack White
Delivery Driver
Young Jack has been a Coast local for a while, growing up on the Sunny Coast.
Jack is accomplished at many things and is an asset for Tilers Trade Centre, delivering from Pomona in the North to Beerwah in the South.
Jack can locate most job sites and can load our Ute for each and every task at hand.
The quiet achiever, please welcome Jack when he delivers to your location or you see him travelling on a road near you
Daniel Pottas
Warehouse Storeman/ Delivery Driver
Now Daniel came to us to work.
He came from another industry, another country and honestly another world.
He has accomplished since June 2025, not only a Forklift ticket but the knowledge of Adhesives, Angle, Grout and so much more.
We hope we are helping him with the Aussie Language. Have you met Daniel? Can you pick his accent?
He, in a typical day at Tilers Trade Centre has been keeping the warehouse organised, while loading our Delivery vehicles and unloading incoming stock arrivals and stocking shelves. All while also assisting in delivering goods when the truck if full and its a hand unload.
We appreciate all Daniel does and hope we don’t confuse him with our slang
Keith Lynam
Consultant
Keith has been in the Waterproofing Industry, almost before flooring began.
Honestly Keith’s wealth of knowledge is Extensive.
So as our Consultant, staff and customers alike often refer to him to be able to understand the task at hand.
Keith works a few hours a week for us, but staff morale is always on a high when he is around.
So if you know Keith personally or professionally, come on down and have a chat, you know he loves a good catchup.
